Albert Weinbrenner is only 27 when he teams up with his new business partner Joseph Pfeifer. They open a shop on 140 West Water Street, Milwaukee from where they start selling shoes and boots. Their new shop is called "Weinbrenner and Pfeifer". They specialize in various types of work boots.

'Job-fitted'라는 새로운 공법을 도입하여 보다 뛰어난 품질의 제품을 생산하게 됩니다. 당시 다양한 직업군의 노동자들을 위해 좋은 품질과 튼튼한 내구성의 제품을 본격적으로 생산하게 됩니다. 이러한 품질과 내구성을 인정받아 미국 군사용 워커로도 보급되었습니다.
With the introduction of the "Job-fitted" design various dedicated work boot styles begin to appear. Weinbrenner now manufactures boots for miners, oil riggers, linemen and steelworkers. During the First World War Weinbrenner supplies a great number of military boots to the Armed Forces all based on the "Job-fitted" design.

50주년을 맞이한 쏘로굿은 보다 안전한 제품을 만들기 위해 'Safety Toe' 공법을 개발하여 제품에 적용하게 됩니다. 이러한 공법 개발은 쏘로굿이 한 단계 더 발전할 수 있는 계기가 되었습니다.
Weinbrenner celebrates 50 years of successful business. It was a military design that finally led to the introduction of a safety toe work boot.

더 이상 노동자들을 위한 제품이 아닌 하이킹 등 다양한 아웃도어 라이프를 위한 제품으로 인식된 쏘로굿은 보다 많은 사람들에게 인기를 끌게 됩니다. 이 당시 쏘로굿의 시그니처 모델 목토 제품이 개발되었고 현재까지도 가장 사랑받고 있는 제품으로 쏘로굿을 대표하고 있습니다.
Today the special oil-tanned leather, the superb construction and the great amount of comfort highlight the whole line of this boot style which are now sold under the American Heritage label. Style # 814-4201, the original 1964 design is still available.

현재 약 250여 가지의 다양한 스타일의 신발을 출시한 쏘로굿은 위스콘신에 있는 쏘로굿 전문 공장에서 활발히 제품을 생산해내고 있습니다. 또한 수준 높은 품질 관리 시스템을 인정받아 국제적으로 명성이 높은 ISO 9001 인증을 획득했습니다.
Over 125 different styles of work boots and shoes are manufactured at two large factories in Wisconsin. Weinbrenner has also introduced a successful Quality Management System according to the internationally accepted and highly acclaimed ISO 9001 certification.
